In the following days a contract will be signed with an experienced Dutch racer Jasper Iwema, who becomes already the sixteenth racer of our team MOTO FGR. Jasper will be also the only racer from the country of tulips in the Moto GP series. He has gone through three complete seasons in the World Championship and his best one was in 2010, when he won the very respectable 34 points and the 16th final place. Of course, also our team MOTO FGR will want to take the points in that year, where all racers start with no point. The season begins for us with the official IRTA tests in Valencia, Spain in early February. During these tests, there are also the final talks about the team members to be taken.

Less than a month after the visit of Deputy Prime Minister Carolina Peake, another member of the Government Cabinet came to the town of Usti nad Orlicí on Monday, 7th November. Mr. Martin Kocourek, now the former Minister of Industry and Trade, and his delegation visited our local engineering FPOS company.
The reason for this visit was not the much-discussed railway station building, but the operation of the local companies and especially of the FPOS MOTO FGR company, which is directly in the former Perla factory and has been working for several years to develop a unique motorcycle, which was named Midalu. Mr. Radim Jirout, the member of parliament and political partisan of Mr. Kocourek,

A MOTO FGR team racer managed to successfully qualify for the prestigious Junior Championship Red Bull Rookies Cup. At the Spanish Aragon circuit, the commission was choosing racers from 100 racers from around the world during 3 days of the first week of October. First, the pre-selection was narrowed to 55 candidates, of which only 11 were taken and Karel between them!
Due to the ongoing contract with our team he should race at the complementary races but at what championship, this will be still in negotiations.

At the second weekend in October, our team raced at the above given race in Albacete, Spain. The weather over the racetrack was good for the motorcycle sport and by all the days spent on the circuit the sun was shining with temperatures reaching high above 20 ° C. Friday's two practices were marked by bad luck because we "managed to" seize the two engines of motorcycles, which had complete overhauls before the race and one was a new engine to test. At Saturday's qualification Karel went on the repaired motorcycle and the battle for the position on the grid stopped in the last round with the fall of our racer, who, a at the beginning of the curve, was pushed off the track by another racer.

The number 13 was a lucky number for this Motor show, because it went unexpectedly well. Originally estimated three thousand visitors to the campus of secondary vocational school climbed to more than five thousand! This of course meant unexpected difficulties as for parking places, but the organizers managed everything. At our stand, you could traditionally see both FGR motorcycles. In the morning, the visitors had the opportunity to get a card or a poster signed by our two riders, Tomáš Vavrous and Karel Hanika. We also announced a contest with 20 prizes, which was focused on the knowledge of our racing history.
As every year, the weather was fine and the atmosphere was great. Let's wish that next year it is at least the same.

The expected end of the season for our team will not be made. Our racer, Karel Hanika got the nomination for the final race at the Spanish circuit because of his fourth place at the Alpe Adria Cup championship. At first, our team decided not to participate for the high financial demands, but last week the Automobile Club took the decision about the distribution of subsidies and so the team MOTO FGR will be the only Czech one in this class to fight for the best possible place. At the European Championship final race, which takes on 8th and 9th October, only the top five racers selected from championships, such as championships of Spain, Germany, Italy, etc. The aim is to grab the best places, each defeated racer is counted.
The race will be preceded by testing in Brno.
